Yard Dogs Win at Aurora, 7-5
|
Behind the hitting of Jason Hoover, the Mobile Yard Dogs stopped the Aurora Suns, 7-5. Hoover went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Yard Dogs. The winning pitcher was 26-year old left-handed pitcher Jeremy Sharpe. He tossed 87 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits.
