Rotters Best Dread Kings in Pitching Duel
The bats were silent much of the day at Rotters Ballpark. But former first round draft pick Jon Fritz produced just enough offense to carry the Rotters past the Boise Dread Kings, 2-1. Fritz was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. Brian Bauer was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Riverside raised its record to 37-17 with the win.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Fritz hit a solo home run. It thrust the Rotters into the lead, 2-1.

Riverside manager Hermenegildo Fernando commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
