The 2024 season is getting uglier for Traverse City.

The Riverside Rotters racked up a win at Rotters Ballpark, bumping off the Traverse City Bears, 8-2. Jimmy Grams, who started for Riverside, pitched effectively for his team. Grams, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 10, walking 2, and allowing 1 run.

Early in the game, left fielder Juan Alcantara had a run-scoring triple for Riverside. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Rotters on top, 1-0.

"What a dismal performance," lamented losing manager Zach Hildebrant.

The misery continues for the Bears, who have now dropped 11 in a row.
