Tight Tilt Goes to Razor Sharks, 2-1

The Mesa Razor Sharks picked up a win at Razor Sharks Ballpark, topping the Mobile Yard Dogs, 2-1. On the mound for Mesa was right-hander Oscar Orduno. He played a principal role in the triumph. Getting the save was Pat Eisenhower, his 7th. The Razor Sharks raised their record to 28-10.
The Razor Sharks got an important contribution from first baseman Ty Lynch, who in the bottom of the third hit a circle change to right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Razor Sharks ahead, 2-0.
Orduno told a Mesa Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
