The timely hitting of Brandon Titus helped the Chicago Gangsters take down the Syracuse Scorpions, 6-3, in 10 innings. Titus was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Gangsters. Cesar Chairez was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Jared Hall. With the loss, Syracuse falls to 8-14.

Had Titus not come through in the top of the tenth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Titus hit a 3-run home run. The Gangsters took the lead, 6-3, and never looked back.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Titus.
