Scorpions Pick Up 6-4 Win Against San Francisco
The Syracuse Scorpions picked up a win at Scorpion Stadium, dropping the San Francisco Fire, 6-4. Bob Garbee was the difference-maker. The Scorpions, with only their 4th win in 21 games, could be the worst team in the league.

Chris Guardiola had a big 2-run double for the Scorpions in the bottom of the third inning. With Syracuse leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from fan favorite Edwin Rincones and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scorpions ahead, 4-0.

Syracuse manager Dustin Brewer was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
