The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of New Rochelle fans at Ballpark of Lexington.

The New Rochelle Purple Wave pinned a convincing loss on the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 15-1, at Ballpark of Lexington. Malcolm Babcock was a main factor in the win. He went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for New Rochelle. Pat Hiltner got the win, improving to 7-1. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 1.

Kyle Nash had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for New Rochelle. With the bases loaded and the Purple Wave leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Purple Wave manager Brent Boudreau.

New Rochelle now sits at 30-17, while Quebec falls to 29-18.
