Selects Defeat Purple Wave in 10
The Spokane Selects downed the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 7-6, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Lexington. Ian Schelling led the way, going 3-for-5 for Spokane. Tyler Doss, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1 innings. The Selects improved to 29-16.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Schelling delivered big-time for Spokane, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Gabe Sprung. The game-changing hit put the Selects on top, 7-6.

"We've got a great group of guys," Schelling said, "and we're having fun right now."
