Pilots Suffer 14-4 Road Loss
No one was more impactful than Pat Bell in the 14-4 Ann Arbor win over Denver. Bell, who is tied for 2nd in the StC with a .556 slugging percentage, went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Getting the save was Brandon Feldman, his 2nd. After today's action, Ann Arbor sits at 19-24; Denver slips to 18-25.

The Z's got a big hit from first baseman Hunter Schalow. Facing Denver pitcher Danny Pena in the bottom of the fifth, Schalow pounded a 3-run home run to center. His 8th home run of the season put the Z's ahead, 12-3.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Bell.
