The Westwood Bruins knocked off the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 6-1, in Stripes Conference action at Toros Ballpark. Westwood pitcher and Cheonan, South Korea, native Chi-yong Har had an outstanding performance. The 5th-place Fighting Quakers have dropped 5 straight games.

Westwood used a well-timed hit by Billy Martinez to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Bruins ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Westwood manager Hasan Raif.
