The Walnut Park Bobcats got a sterling performance from pitcher Brad Porretta, but the Quebec Aces still prevailed, 6-4. Porretta threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Quebec reliever Rich Hepler picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jaheim Sneed was saddled with the loss. Donovan Mott recorded the save, his 1st.

Josh Grimes chipped in for Quebec, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the catcher went 1-3.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Grimes.

The Aces go to 21-23, putting them third in the Stripes Conference East Division.
