Dillonvale Drops Another One, 5-2
|
Walnut Park Bobcats starter Kyle Sandor hurled his team past the Dillonvale Indians, 5-2. The Indians, now 11-33, have lost 6 in a row.
Billy Sawyer had a big 2-run home run for the Bobcats in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Walnut Park leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a sinker from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Telford and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Bobcats on top, 4-0.
"Kyle set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Walnut Park manager Perry Glickman.
