Brian Underwood was nothing short of phenomenal for the Randolph Prairie Thunder. The 23-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Orono Oaks, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Underwood, now 6-2. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. The win elevated the Prairie Thunder to 32-10.

Randolph used a well-timed hit by Mike Weiss to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Prairie Thunder ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"The vibe's good," said Randolph manager Michael Kelleher. "We've got to keep it going."
