The first-place Orono Oaks took on the Spokane Selects in front of a spirited crowd.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Orono Oaks and the Spokane Selects, D.J. Urbanek, who is tied for 5th in the StC in quality starts with 6, was the difference-maker. The Orono left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Urbanek yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 4-2. Picking up his 6th save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jordan Green.

George Theodore broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Oaks in front, 2-1. For the game, Theodore drew 1 walk.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Urbanek.

Orono now owns a record of 29-13.
