Ann Arbor left fielder Hunter Schalow made his presence felt in the 5-4 Z's triumph over the Quebec Fighting Quakers. Schalow was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ann Arbor currently is in third place in the Stripes Conference East Division at 24-18.

Schalow had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Brian Kauppinen, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Z's a 5-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Schalow.

"Hunter showed up tonight," said Ann Arbor manager Brock Fullington.
