Losing Trend Continues for Dillonvale
|
Victor Angel had a strong outing for the Spokane Selects against the Dillonvale Indians at Selects Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Tyler Doss earned his 7th save, after closing out the game. The first-place Selects have won 6 consecutive games.
Alex Sanchez dealt the Indians a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Spokane leading 2-1, Sanchez hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.
Afterward, Selects manager Chris McLure said, "We had some good at-bats, some big at-bats in some key situations."
