Pilots Topple Purple Wave, 9-2, as Errigo Shines
The Denver Pilots thumped the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 9-2, at Pilots Ballpark. Darren Errigo was a big reason his team got the win. Errigo went 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Andrew Chalmers got the win, improving to 3-3. He worked 8 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Denver currently is in 4th place in the Stripes Conference West Division at 20-21.

Errigo made an early impact for Denver when he stroked his 7th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Pilots on top, 4-0.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Pilots manager Adrian Collins.
