Losing Trend Continues for Ann Arbor
The Westwood Bruins topped the Ann Arbor Z's, 9-3, with center fielder Chris Medders playing a big role. Medders went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Bruins in the win. Jim Schisler closed it out for Westwood, earning his 1st save. The Z's have now dropped 6 straight.

Medders had a big hit for Westwood with one out in the bottom of the eighth. With Westwood leading 5-3, Medders hit a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bruins up, 9-3.
