The New Rochelle Purple Wave picked up a win at Hedgehogs Ballpark, knocking off the Fremont Marshalls, 5-3. Starting pitcher James Dobyns was a big reason why. Jason Martin closed the game out for New Rochelle, earning his 7th save. New Rochelle now sits at 19-18, while Fremont falls to 18-19.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Dennis Quesada? The 23-year old first baseman Quesada stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put New Rochelle up, 3-1. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Quesada.
