Mack Dazzles in 1-0 Spokane Win

The Spokane Selects rode a solid performance from 22-year-old starting pitcher Rich Mack to a win, beating the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 1-0, at Selects Ballpark. Tyler Doss was credited with the save for Spokane, his 10th of the season. The Selects bumped their record to 23-13 with this win.
Mack confounded Quebec hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.
"I had everything working," said Mack.
