Indians Beat Visiting Bobcats, 5-0
|
The Dillonvale Indians got a stellar effort from pitcher Braden Shaw, helping Dillonvale score a win over the visiting Walnut Park Bobcats, 5-0. Shaw, now 3-1, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing no runs. The last-place Indians have a record of 13-18.
Dillonvale took a 4-0 lead on Keith Cole's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Cole hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Walnut Park pitcher Juan Mendoza shaking his head.
