Orono took on Ann Arbor in front of a lively crowd.

Matt Haselden, who is tied for 4th in the StC in wins with 4, was terrific for the Orono Oaks in his team's 7-0 triumph over the Ann Arbor Z's. His performance earned Haselden rave reviews. Haselden, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing no runs.

With no one out in the bottom of the fifth, Regis Roper put Orono in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The Oaks went on to win the ballgame.

"I tried to establish all my pitches early," said Haselden.

With the win, the Oaks sit at 21-12.
