John Blackman pitched a gem to lead Westwood to victory over the Palm Springs Heat, 2-1, in 11 innings. Westwood is now 16-15, Palm Springs 20-11.

Westwood got a knockout punch from Jon Wagner. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Blackman.
