Fighting Quakers Victorious at Walnut Park, 1-0
|
Left-hander Edwin Rincones mesmerized the Walnut Park Bobcats while leading the Quebec Fighting Quakers to a 1-0 victory. Brian Kauppinen earned the save for Quebec, his 4th. The victory makes Quebec 14-14.
The Fighting Quakers got a big at-bat from second baseman Kevin Sangermano. For the game, Sangermano was 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Quebec a 1-0 lead.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Walnut Park manager Hua Pian said, following the tough loss.
