Walnut Park Absorbs 5-1 Loss to Palm Springs
|
The Palm Springs Heat topped the Walnut Park Bobcats, 5-1, in Stripes Conference action at Heat Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Palm Springs first baseman Dustin Roachell. The win elevated the Heat to 20-9.
In the first inning, Roachell had a 2-run home run for Palm Springs. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Heat on top, 2-0.
"We take it day by day here," said Roachell, "and today was a good one for us."
