Dillonvale first baseman Matt Peterson was instrumental in helping the Indians triumph, 5-1, over the Palm Springs Heat. Peterson was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win puts Dillonvale at 11-14.

Peterson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch changeup from Mike Parker, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Indians a 4-1 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Peterson.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Peterson. "You've got to get results."
