Quebec Upended, 4-2, by Ann Arbor
|
Knights Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Quebec Fighting Quakers and Ann Arbor Z's.
The Ann Arbor Z's topped the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 4-2, in Stripes Conference action at Knights Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Ann Arbor pitcher Armando Ramirez. The win belonged to Sam Powers in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Pat Nicholas took the loss for Quebec. Chris Runte collected save number 6.
Ann Arbor took the lead, 3-2, on Justin Grasso's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Quebec pitcher Pat Nicholas in the bottom of the seventh.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Grasso.
Quebec drops to 11-16.
