Drake Powers Purple Wave to 4-1 Win
The 4-1 New Rochelle win over Denver was due in large part to Nick Drake. The Purple Wave right fielder went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Caleb Jordan closed it out for his 1st save. The win gives New Rochelle a record of 16-11.

There was more than one reason the Purple Wave beat the Pilots, but Drake's big at-bat in the bottom of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"I like what I saw today," said New Rochelle manager Brent Boudreau, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
