In a tight tilt between the Spokane Selects and the Hickory Crawdads, Morgan Jenkins was the deciding factor. The Spokane right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Spokane is now 16-10.

The Crawdads had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Selects going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old left fielder Tony Bradshaw came to the plate. Bradshaw hit a solo home run on a 1-1 fastball from Hickory hurler Dusty Nelson. It was Bradshaw's 5th home run of the year.

"Morgan is good at sticking to his strengths," said Spokane manager Chris McLure.
