The Walnut Park Bobcats and Ann Arbor Z's squared off at Ballpark of Walnut Park.
The Walnut Park Bobcats beat the Ann Arbor Z's, 7-3, with major props going to first baseman Ruben Cabriales. On the day, Cabriales went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bobcats. The winner in relief was Chris Dake. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0.
Curtis White hit a run-scoring double off Alex Valdes in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Bobcats in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, White had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
