Oaks Keep Reeling Off Wins
Orono ruined an otherwise fine effort from Brent Stedronsky by toppling Quebec, 2-1. The Quebec pitcher threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Picking up the win was Mickey Green. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 1 and walked 3. The Aces, now 7-12, continue their slow start.

In the top of the first, Julio Negron ambushed a full count changeup from Brent Stedronsky and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Orono a quick 2-0 lead.

"I feel like we're rolling now," Negron told the Orono Herald."The dugout is coming alive."
