Ann Arbor Z's starter Francisco Macias led his team to victory over the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 3-2. The right-hander was locked-in. Ann Arbor reliever Alex Valdes picked up the win, while Edwin Rincones took the loss for Quebec. Ted Tygart, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

Jonathan McCarthy, who is tied for 5th in the StC in RBI with 14, helped out the Ann Arbor cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"Francisco had himself a pretty good evening," said Ann Arbor manager Bryan Gallegos.

Now 4-16, the 2022 Fighting Quakers have played a subpar brand of baseball so far.
