The Walnut Park Bobcats earned a close win over the Spokane Selects, thanks in part to Tony Espinoza. The Walnut Park right-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The win was credited to 27-year old right-handed pitcher Sean Rosato in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Mike Watts took the loss. The loss puts Spokane at 13-6.
T.J. Crump was the walk-off hero for Walnut Park. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bobcats left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Espinoza.
