Purple Wave Sneak By Z's, 3-2
The Ann Arbor Z's and New Rochelle Purple Wave provided some drama for the home crowd.

The New Rochelle Purple Wave used the hitting of catcher Victor Lopez to subdue the Ann Arbor Z's, 3-2, in 10 innings. For the game, Lopez hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Ann Arbor, now 3-15, has gotten off to a terrible start.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Lopez hit a curveball from Ted Tygart for a solo home run. The Purple Wave, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Lopez called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
