Quebec Aces starter Justin Hesley pitched his team past the Hickory Crawdads, 4-2. Steve Bueno was credited with the save for Quebec, his 4th of the season. After losing, Hickory is 8-8.

Quebec used a well-timed hit by Josh Meeker to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Aces ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Justin giving us the start that he did was huge," said Quebec manager Elias Nunez.
