Fighting Quakers Bang Out 9-6 Win Versus Ann Arbor
Though he had a stellar game, Chih Ren could not prevent his team, the Ann Arbor Z's, from losing, 9-6, to the Quebec Fighting Quakers. Ren was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win leaves Quebec with a record of 11-5.

Quebec used a clutch at-bat from Mario Sixtos to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Fighting Quakers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We've got a great group of guys," Sixtos said, "and we're having fun right now."
