Quebec Beats Dillonvale, 10-1
|
The Quebec Fighting Quakers beat the Dillonvale Indians, 10-1, at Toros Ballpark. Matt Lee, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Chris Huyard picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 7 in 5 innings. Earning his 2nd save for Quebec was Jerardo Perez.
Nate Dubiel, who is tied for 7th in the StC in RBI with 10, helped out the Quebec cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.
"Not my idea of a good time," Dillonvale manager Markus Mensink said, when asked afterward about the game.
The Indians drop to 7-11, as their stumbling start to the 2025 season continues.
