The Quebec Aces banked on Jim Wallace and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Quebec hitters in check. The final score was 3-1, Aces. Quebec reliever Jonathan Harvey snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chris Reed shouldered the loss. Travis Espinoza recorded the save, his 2nd.

Brian Gates took Quebec hurler Chris Reed deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Aces on top, 2-1. In all, Gates had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Gates.

Quebec, with the loss, is still a stout 8-3.
