Quebec Absorbs 6-1 Loss to Quebec

The Quebec Fighting Quakers locked up a win at Belmont Park, knocking off the Quebec Aces, 6-1. On the mound for Quebec was right-hander Chris Huyard. He played a major role in the triumph. Huyard, now 1-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. The win puts Quebec at 8-2.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Joe Tinson? The Quebec designated hitter had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Fighting Quakers on top, 4-0. For the game, Tinson had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Quebec manager Arturo Rivera.
