Walnut Park wasted a solid 6.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Kyle Sandor, losing to Quebec, 1-0, at Toros Ballpark. Jerardo Perez got credit for the save for Quebec. It was his 1st of the year. With the win, Quebec elevates its record to 4-3.

The Fighting Quakers got a big at-bat from second baseman Jose Hernandez. For the game, Hernandez was 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Quebec a 1-0 lead.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Hernandez told the Quebec Times.
