The Ann Arbor Z's got a superb performance from pitcher Rob Harvey. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Spokane. The Selects won the game, 2-1. Harvey threw 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Moises Gonzalez, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2023 draft, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Rob Harvey. The win puts Spokane at 5-1.

Dan Moody had a direct impact on the outcome. Moody contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Spokane up, 2-0.
