Marshalls Post 4-1 Win Over New Rochelle
The Fremont Marshalls locked up a win at Ballpark of Lexington, knocking off the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 4-1. On the mound for Fremont was right-hander Nate Briceno. He played a major role in the triumph. New Rochelle, with the loss, is still a stout 4-1.

Fremont took advantage of an error in the top of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 0-0, when Paul Kuhns hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Marshalls in front, 1-0.

Fremont manager Elias Nunez called it "a darn good win."
