Z's Rally For Late Win Over Indians

The Dillonvale Indians got a sterling performance from pitcher Jesus Garcia, but the Ann Arbor Z's still prevailed, 5-4. Garcia threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Jesse Keim closed the game out for Ann Arbor, earning his 1st save. The Z's, now 4-1, have stormed out of the gates.
Ann Arbor used the timely hitting of Sam Berger to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Z's on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Dillonvale manager Markus Mensink.
