The Bobcats grabbed a win, 2-1, at Jackie Robinson Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Westwood pitcher John Blackman. Blackman went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Walnut Park reliever Tony Wooten got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jonathan Marich was tagged with the loss. Sean Rosato was credited with the save for Walnut Park, his 1st of the season.

Nate Sheridan had a direct impact on the outcome. Sheridan contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Walnut Park up, 2-1.
