Spokane Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Crowds lined up early in front of Selects Ballpark, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2025 ABA Development League season. On the mound was Ben Calder for the visiting Orono Oaks and Tim Sindt for the hometown Spokane Selects. In a spirited contest, the Selects pulled out the win, defeating the Oaks by the score of 3-2. Especially impressive was Tim Sindt.
Spokane got a knockout punch from Tony Bradshaw. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Sindt said.
