Losing Trend Continues for Laredo
|
Laredo third baseman Corey Pryor had a good game, even if his team did not. The Ghosts dropped a 5-3 decision to Hartford at Ballpark of Tacoma. Pryor went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Hartford pitcher Pat Wilber got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Paul Reining got the loss. Hartford has run its win streak to 5 straight.
Roy Blaylock contributed to the Hartford win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
