Stampede Post 7-3 Win Over Quebec
The Lubbock Stampede besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Quebec first baseman John Oglesby by beating the Aces, 7-3, at Belmont Park. Oglesby was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Stampede, at 70-72, inhabit 4th place in the Stars Conference West Division.

Bubba Weese helped out the Lubbock cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-1.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Weese after the game.
