Hartford left fielder Jake Brosius contributed significantly to his team's 5-2 win over the Quebec Aces. Brosius, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Matadors. The Matadors, at 89-53, have a comfortable 15-game lead in their division.

Early in the game, Brosius had a 2-run home run for Hartford. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Matadors on top, 2-0.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Matadors manager Jesse Heugly.
