Led by Keith DiPiazza, the Fremont Marshalls defeated the Montreal Canadiens, 7-3. DiPiazza was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Marshalls. The losses continue to mount for Montreal, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when DiPiazza hit a 3-run home run off Ryan Louviere. It propelled the Marshalls into the lead, 3-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said DiPiazza.
