Hartford got a first-rate effort from pitcher Tony Morales, who frustrated Nashville hitters en route to a 3-1 Matadors triumph at Ballpark of Tacoma. With the win, Hartford upped its record to 92-52.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Chris Flowers had a game-changing hit. The Matadors second baseman slammed a 2-run single off Steve Wright, making the score 2-1, Hartford.
Flowers called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
