Flowers Helps Matadors Defeat Lasers, 10-6
|
Matadors second baseman Chris Flowers left his imprint on his team's 10-6 win over the Nashville Lasers. Flowers was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for Hartford in the contest. The first-place Matadors have won 4 straight games.
John Benson, who is tied for 5th in the SC in stolen bases with 23, helped out the Hartford cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder went 2-5 with 2 singles. He scored 2 times.
