Muskies Turn Back Tailgators, 4-2
|
Glendale Muskies starter Moises Cruz pitched a strong game against the Chesapeake Tailgators at Field of the Muskies, leading the Muskies to victory, 4-2. The victory gives Glendale a record of 72-70.
The Muskies got a big at-bat from center fielder Steve Krout. For the game, Krout went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Glendale a 4-2 lead.
"Moises was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Glendale manager Jermaine Allen.
