The Baxter Springs Marshals weathered a fine game by Joilet catcher Chris Anderson to upend the Jesters, 5-4, at Ballpark of Joilet. Anderson went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Christian Chervenka earned his 2nd save in 3 tries.

Baxter Springs used a clutch at-bat from Jon Olejniczak to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Marshals ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
