Muskies Get Clutch Win, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring game between the Glendale Muskies and the El Paso Chupacabras, pitcher Terry Droubay was the difference-maker. The Glendale left-hander was tough as nails in the 3-2 Muskies win. Glendale reliever Mark Crocker picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Marcos Guadarrama absorbed the loss. The Glendale win streak is now 3 games.
Ray Alleyne was the walk-off hero for Glendale. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Muskies center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
